Membership in the Coupeville Lions Club is open to all men and women over the age of 18 who are willing to dedicate their time to serve the needs of our community. Whether you can give a little or a lot, your commitment will be honored by your peers and appreciated by your community. The Coupeville Lions enjoy serving the needs of our community as well as enjoy the fellowship and company of our fellow Lions. Friendships among Coupeville Lions and their families come quickly and easily, and last lifetimes. FUN - FELLOWSHIP - SERVICE
The Coupeville Lions Club meet every Wednesday evening, September through June. In the months of July through August, the Club meets on the 1st and 3rd Wednesday's only. Board of Directors Meetings, held every other Wednesday, are open to all members. Although the Club meets every Wednesday, it is not a requirement . . . . . . attend when you want to. |
COME AS YOU ARE . . .
As a member of a Coupeville Lions Club, the purchase of a Gold Vest is required per the Lions Objects and Code of Ethics that form a common bond of all Lions serving their communities throughout the world. Additionally, you may purchase optional apparel such as long sleeve/short sleeve button up shirts to moisture wick fabric and warm cozy sweatshirts, through our local vendor. |
PEER APPROVAL
When your friends, neighbors, co–workers and business associates learn that you have joined the Coupeville Lions, you are likely to receive their approval. People are aware that Lions do good things in this community. They may not comprehend precisely what it is Lions do, but the Lions image is one of voluntary, constructive, humanitarian contributions to those in need. When you say you have become a Lion, people know you are demonstrating an interest in the welfare of your community. |

World Wide Friends
When you join a Lions Club you become a member of the largest service club organization in the world. Lionism stretches around the world with 1.4 million members and 47,000 clubs in 200+ countries and regions. As a member you receive a Lions lapel pin to wear, and no matter where you travel that pin identifies you as a person who cares. Lions are always quick to spot fellow Lions and to offer friendship and assistance. |
Accomplishment
Membership in a Lions Club offers opportunities for you to participate with a group helping those who are less fortunate rather than trying to help alone. Families and people in our communities have unmet needs, and Lions have accepted the challenge to help our fellow citizens. Public Speaking
Some members who joined Lions were afraid of public speaking. Lions develop confidence and skill in public communication and the opportunity to practice leading a group and speaking in public, in a friendly setting. |

Family Programs
Lions offers youth programs - such as Leos, Scouts, swim programs, and Peace Poster contests which involve children and their families. |
